Located to the southeast of Mexico, in the state of Quintana Roo, we find Tulum, one of the nicest beaches of the Caribbean coast. At present it constitutes a big attraction of Riviera Maya, topcoat for those who flee of the bustle of the people and of the most tourist beaches. Pero Tulum is flat and much more.

THE RUINS

If visits Tulum you must not allow seeing its archaeological ruins. Placed on a small mountain on the banks of the Caribbean Sea, this ancient Mayan city is one of better preserved of the whole Mexico. Its current name refers to the ancient wall that was surrounding it. Tulum is the most visited third archaeological place of Mexico, only behind Teotihuacán and Chichen Itzá. Its delight resides in the scenery that the ruins leave and also in which it is a slightly tourist place, where really to rest and to spend some day

Normally the city visits for the day, but at present also it is possible to visit in the night thanks to the night trips that there organizes the institute of Anthropology of Mexico.

THE BEACH

If its ruins are attractive, what does to say have of its beaches. The Tulum coast offers a movie scenery, with a big variety of tones blue that sure that impress. Also it is not difficult at all to spend one or two nights, since about all its coast, numerous positions exist where to sleep. But do not look for hotels or pensions … here what you will find are huts much quite near of the beach. As in everything, they are for all kinds of tastes and of pockets, so that you can choose between sleeping in the idyllic one huts with a view to the sea but with sand soil or sleeping in nice huts that have even the minimal detail.

And the fact is that the Tulum coast offers, along with the ruins, a scenery of an enormous beauty where calmness is breathed.
