Every year, the butterflies monarch cover thousands of kilometers give of Canada to settle in Mexican grounds. There, in the most oriental part of the Michoacán, they install these butterflies to themselves to hibernate, forming an incredible scenery that you can observe perfectly if you move to one of two Sanctums of the Butterflies Monarch who exists in the area.

TRIP

Every autumn, the butterflies travel up to Mexico give of the region of the Great Lakes, in Canada, to hibernate. • Entry to the reservation of the butterflies monarch: 2 dollars. Schedule: of 9:00 to 18:00, from November until March.
You can observe this marvel of the nature from middle of November until March, but everything depends on the climatological conditions. Better to consult it previously, topcoat if we intend to go to beginning or ends of the station. The best months to visit it it is, undoubtedly, a January and February, since the number of butterflies is major.

2 sanctums exist: that of “Saw Chincua” and that of “The belfry”. The base that stays close to the two is the base Angangueo.
There are great the organized circuits that realize excursions. It is the best way of going, if you do not want to lose a lot of time taking different means of transport that take you up to the place.
